York Regional Police investigating two hate crimes in Vaughan

The York Regional Police (YRP) says they are investigating two separate reports of hate incidents in the City of Vaughan.

Police say they responded to reports of anti-Semitic graffiti in a park in the area of Bathurst and Major Mackenzie Drive. They say the incident happened on Thursday.

Police say another incident happened on Saturday where a video on social media was filmed outside of an elementary school in Vaughan.

Investigators are looking into the content of the video, but no threats were made.

Anyone who has information about these incidents are asked to contact police.
