Ottawa police are seeking witnesses to a vehicle-pedestrian collision that left a woman in her 80s with life-threatening injuries on Sunday evening.
Police say they responded to the report of a collision at 5:20 p.m. involving a pedestrian on Hazeldean Road near Tiloge Street, and said an 83-year-old woman was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The woman had been struck by a pickup truck, paramedics spokesperson Marc-Antoine Deschamps told the Ottawa Citizen on Monday.
“Police are asking anyone with information regarding the collision, or who may have cameras on their properties, dashcam that may have captured the incident, to come forward,” police wrote in a news release.
