“There’s enough green space just along the highway to travel, and then they can get right out into the bigger fields that are owned by the NCC just to the east of here,” explains Ferland, who spent almost 10 years with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and has a Master of Science degree in animal ecology and behaviour.
