The Ottawa Police Service said Tuesday it was investigating an incident in which a crossbow bolt was found lodged in the back exterior wall of a home in Orléans .
A social-media post by the OPS said the projectile was found on Monday, June 8, and the incident was believed to have occurred at the residence on Plainhill Drive overnight between June 7 and 8.
Plainhill Drive is just north of Brian Coburn Drive and just east of Portebello Boulevard.
