Things are looking sweaty for the capital over the next few days.
Environment Canada is forecasting two days of high humidity that will make the temperature Thursday and Friday feel like 38 or higher.
The outlook Thursday is for a mix of sun and cloud, with a 40 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon and a risk of a thunderstorm.
The official high is expected to be 30 C. The overnight low is expected to be a more comfortable 18 C.
Friday is expected to be much of the same temperature-wise, with a high forecast of 30 C, bumped up to ‘feels like’ 39-40 by the humidex calculation.
The outlook is for mainly cloudy conditions with a 60 per cent chance of showers through the day.
Saturday is looking dandy so far, with sunny skies in the forecast and a high of about 27 C.
Daily temperatures are expected to begin to decline on Sunday with a high of about 24 C, and a 40 per cent chance of showers.
Monday’s looking like a mix of sun and cloud, with a forecast high of 22 C.
