Orléans man, 36, charged with distribution of child sex material

A 36-year-old Orléans man faces a number of charges related to possession and distribution of child sex abuse material.

In a release, Ottawa police say that, following “multiple cybertip reports that an individual was sharing” material online, the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit executed a search warrant at residence in Orleans.

Investigators seized several devices believed to contain the illegal materials.

Christopher Baynham appeared in court on July 24 on charges of possession and distribution of child sexual abuse and exploitation material.

Police believe there could be other victims and added that Baynham had used the following usernames online: Takasuki90, Takasuki1990, Takasuki111, Taka_Crypto90, Rose Wilson, Rose_emerald, emerld_dream and Yukosaki.
