Police in the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais were investigating after the body of a 78-year-old Ottawa man was discovered in the Gatineau River on Wednesday near Cantley, about 20 kilometres north of Ottawa.
Police were called at about 5:17 p.m. on reports of an “unconscious person.”
The person was declared dead at the scene.
