MONTREAL – Bombardier Inc. reported a second-quarter profit of US$191 million, down from US$193 million a year earlier, as its revenue rose six per cent.
The Montreal-based aircraft maker, which keeps its books in U.S. dollars, says the profit amounted to US$1.84 per diluted share for the quarter ended June 30, compared with US$1.87 cents US per diluted share in the same quarter last year.
On an adjusted basis, Bombardier says it earned US$2.50 per share in its latest quarter, up from US$1.11 per share a year earlier.
Revenue for the quarter totalled US$2.15 billion, up from US$2.03 billion in the second quarter of 2025.
Bombardier says it delivered 32 aircraft for the quarter, down from 36 in the same quarter last year.
The company’s order backlog stood at US$21.8 billion at June 30.
