Boy, 15, injured in North York shooting

Toronto police are investigating after a 15-year-old boy showed up to hospital with injuries from a shooting in North York.

Officers say they were called to reports of a shooting in the area of Cherokee Boulevard and Shawnee Circle just before 10 p.m.

The victim took himself to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There have been no further details released.
