Brookfield to commit up to $9 billion to expand South Korean AI data centre

SAN FRANCISCO – Brookfield Asset Management plans to invest up to US$9 billion in AI infrastructure as part of a partnership with Nvidia to expand a data centre in South Korea.

As part of the deal, Nvidia would invest US$1 billion into South Korean internet company Naver Corp., which will fund the remaining amounts to finance the project.
