CALGARY – Home sales in Calgary were down in July compared with a year ago as prices also fell, which the city’s real estate board says is partly due to “persistent oversupply” of condominiums.

The Calgary Real Estate Board says 1,904 homes changed hands last month, down 9.2 per cent from July 2025, as the residential benchmark price fell two per cent to $569,200.
