Multiple tenants of a building were treated for smoke inhalation, and one officer was transported to hospital after an apartment fire erupted early Monday morning in Mississauga.
Emergency crews were called to the Iverhouse Drive and Lakeshore Road West area around 3:38 a.m. Peel police say one officer was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
Iverhouse Drive at both Lakeshore Road West and Bonnymede Drive remain closed.
The cause of the fire is yet to be known.
