Cyclist in his 70s rushed to hospital after getting hit by a car in Etobicoke

Toronto police are investigating after a cyclist in his 70s was hit by a car on Saturday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the area of Dixon and Royal York Roads just after 2 p.m.

Paramedics told CityNews an “elderly man” was rushed to a hospital with serious and potentially life-threatening injuries.

The circumstances leading up to the crash were not immediately known.
