The first of five Bruno Mars shows at Rogers Stadium, scheduled for Saturday evening, has been postponed to May 31 due to inclement weather, concert organizers announced.
“The safety of our guests, artists, crew and staff remains our top priority,” Live Nation said in a statement.
All tickets for the original date will be honoured for the new date, Live Nation said, with further information communicated “directly to ticketholders” through Ticketmaster and the Rogers Stadium app.
Mars was slated to kick off his five-show run at the 50,000-seat stadium as part of his 78-show tour promoting his latest studio effort, “The Romantic.”
In his own statement, he said he’ll “make it up to” those who had tickets to the first night.
“I never want this but I need everyone to be safe in order to have a good time,” Mars wrote in a post on X.
