“We’re doing our finale dance for our year-end show, and everyone’s in it. We didn’t separate the wheelchair group. In the first 30 seconds (of the dance,) we have four wheelchairs and four people dancing around,” Pettigrew says, adding that during the show’s practice, the dancers in wheelchairs exclaimed how amazing it felt, and how they felt like they were a part of something.
