We’re inviting you to ask questions about Prime Minister Mark Carney’s push to deepen ties with the European Union and what it could mean for Canada’s relationship with the United States.
On Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 10 a.m., Ottawa bureau chief Tonda MacCharles and Paris-based reporter Allan Woods will host a live Q&A on the Canada-EU relationship. MacCharles recently wrote about a leaked draft leaders’ statement for the Canada-EU summit set to conclude Oct. 30. Woods’ latest analysis is about how Canadians see the “moon shot” alliance coming together.
What do you want to know? What is Canada hoping to gain from closer ties with Europe? What could it mean for Canada’s relationship with the U. S.? And how much say will Canadians have in where it goes?
