An investigation continues after a man was found with serious injuries Saturday afternoon on George Street in the ByWard Market.
Emergency workers were called shortly after 4:30 p.m. when a man in his 20s was found on George Street near Dalhousie Street with a “laceration” on his face.
In an email Sunday, police said officers responded to “a report of an assault with a weapon.”
The victim was transported to hospital “where they were assessed to have non-life-threatening injuries.”
The victim’s identity has not been released. There have been no arrests.
