The Ottawa Police Service on Friday evening requested public assistance in locating a missing 78-year-old man.
According to an OPS media release, Wentao Huang was last seen at approximately 9:20 a.m. on June 5 leaving his residence for a walk in the area of Barnsdale and Borrisokane roads in Barrhaven.
He was described as an Asian man standing five feet 11 inches tall with a thin build, bald and clean-shaven.
He may be wearing a brown long-sleeved shirt and black pants, a hat, and may be using a cane, and he may also be carrying a red/orange bag.
Anyone who sees Huang or has information about his whereabouts was asked to call 911 immediately.
