A 73-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital in critical condition after a single-vehicle crash in Lanark Highlands Township on Wednesday.
Just after 2 p.m. on July 8, officers from the Lanark County OPP detachment responded to the scene on Wolf Grove Road between Gibson Road the the Eighth Concession B Lanark.
The motorcyclist, a man from Lanark Highlands Township, was flown to an area trauma hospital by Air Ornge, police said in a news release.
Wolf Grove Road between Gibson and the Eighth Concession would remain closed for several hours while emergency crews and investigators are on scene, police said.
The investigation continues, and anyone with information or video footage of the incident was asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
