FREDERICTON – The head of New Brunswick’s public power utility has been granted an extension to her contract and a pay bump.
The provincial Liberal government has reappointed NB Power President and CEO Lori Clark for another term running through March 16, 2028.
Premier Susan Holt cabinet’s decision to renew Clark’s contract comes as the province enacts sweeping reforms to the debt-saddled utility.
An order-in-council dated June 11 also says Clark’s total pay will be $623,653 plus any cost-of-living increases.
New Brunswick’s public salary disclosure shows she made up to $549,000 in 2025, following years of steady increases from the up to $350,000 she made as interim CEO in 2022.
Clark’s renumeration is determined by the lieutenant-governor under the province’s Electricity Act, according to the order-in-council document.
