New Liberal leadership candidate promotes rent freeze, free GO Transit

A $22 minimum wage, a rent freeze and free GO Transit are on the agenda for housing executive Vikram Handa as he enters Ontario’s Liberal leadership race ahead of Friday’s 5 p.m. deadline. 

The bilingual graduate of Oakwood Collegiate in Toronto and the University of British Columbia law school has been quietly touring the province gathering ideas for his campaign in the Nov. 21 contest.
