Branch ergonomic chairs have been recalled over a fall risk because the backrest can detach.
“Immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Branch for a free repair kit,” according to the product recall notice.
As of Aug. 31, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the U.S., the company has received 11 reports of backrests detaching from the chairs but no injuries reported.

- What to do Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chairs and contact Branch for a free repair kit that includes a replacement backrest, installation instructions, three bolts and an Allen key.

This recall involves height-adjustable Branch ergonomic chairs and only applies to chairs with backrest anchors that were incorrectly installed at the time of manufacture.
The recalled chairs were manufactured between Sept. 10, 2025 and April 22, 2026.
