The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating after a Millhaven Institute inmate died following an incident Sunday.
At about 5:10 p.m. on May 3, the incident involving inmates occurred at Millhaven, located in Bath, west of Kingston, police said in a May 6 news release.
Darian Daignault, 28, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital. He was pronounced dead on Tuesday, May 5, police said.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death, they said.
No other details were immediately released.
