Provincial police continue to investigate after a body was found at a residence in Augusta Township near Prescott Wednesday afternoon.
“Preliminary information suggests this is an isolated incident, with no signs of a broader threat,” OPP said in a release.
“Police continue to investigate and are actively monitoring the situation.”
The body was discovered at a residence on County Road 26.
So far, there has been no information on the gender or age of the victim.
“Residents of Augusta Township can expect to see an increased police presence as officers continue the investigation,” police said.
