An Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB) teacher was charged with historic sexual offences with a student the Ottawa Police Service said Wednesday.
The service’s Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit arrested Nancy Lescarbeau, 52, and charged her for incidents that allegedly took place between 2021 and 2022, police said.
Lescarbeau faces charges of sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, invitation to exposure, forcible confinement, intimidation by threats of violence, assault with a weapon, and assault.
Investigators say they are concerned there may be other student victims.
