An 81-year-old Ottawa man is facing charges in connection with alleged sexual offences dating back to the 1980s.
The Ottawa Police Service offered few details in a June 17 news release, but said Zulfikarali Najak had been charged with two counts of sexual assault and was scheduled to make a court appearance on Wednesday afternoon.
The Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit thinks there may be additional victims or incidents related to the Ottawa-area investigation.
