The Ottawa police are attempting to identify three people after an assault on Saturday, July 11, left the victim with a broken arm.
The incident occurred in the area of York Street and ByWard Market Square, the Ottawa Police Service stated in a news release on Monday, Aug. 17.
Investigators think “Subject 1” was involved in the assault, while Subject 2 and Subject 3 may have information relevant to the investigation, police said.
Subject 1 was described as a white female with long, dark brown hair. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a black sleeveless dress and carrying a pink purse.
Subject 2 was described as a female with tan/olive skin and long, dark hair. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a red dress and high heels.
Subject 3 was described as a white male with brown hair and brown facial hair, including a moustache and facial hair on his chin. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a white short-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and white shoes, and carrying a black shoulder bag.
Anyone who can help police ID the three individuals or who has information about the incident was asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Central Investigations Section at 613-236-1222, extension 5166.
