Toronto media personality Patricia Jaggernauth is returning to the city’s radio waves, nearly four years after the former CP24 television host launched and then settled a human rights complaint against Bell Media.
CINA Radio Group announced on Friday a sweeping relaunch of FLOW 98.7, which will be anchored by a new flagship show, “FLOW Morning’s with Patricia J and Spex,” to mark its 25th anniversary. The show is set to air weekdays from 6 to 10 a.m., beginning Monday.
It’s a full-circle moment for the Emmy Award-winning Jaggernauth, who returns to the station where she kicked off her career as an intern, after she stepped away from television-hosting duties nearly four years ago.
“Four years away gave me perspective, gratitude, and a clarity about why I love this,” Jaggernauth said in the statement. “Coming back to FLOW, where it all started, feels like the right moment, the right place, and the right team. Toronto, your mornings are about to look very different,” she said.
“FLOW has always been more than a radio station — it’s part of Toronto’s cultural DNA,” said Peter Kash, program director at FLOW 98.7.
“Celebrating 25 years by bringing Patricia home, and recommitting to the sound this city fell in love with, is exactly the statement we want to make.”
Discrimination complaint against Bell Media resolved
In October 2022, Jaggernauth filed a complaint with the Canadian Human Rights Commission, alleging a “systemic pattern” of racism, sexism, and discrimination during her 11 years at Bell Media. Bell Media denied the allegations in a letter to the commission in October 2024 and requested the claim be dismissed.
In 2025, Jaggernauth announced that her complaint of discrimination based on race, sex, and disability while working at Bell Media had been resolved. “The matter has been resolved to the mutual satisfaction of Bell Media and Patricia Jaggernauth,” she posted on Instagram, adding, “There will be no further public comments about this matter.”
Joining her is co-host Spex (Robert Lloyd), who “brings energy, personality, and a deep respect for what FLOW has meant to this city” according to the statement.
“FLOW’s energy is legendary and the bar is high,” Spex said. “I’m honoured to be co-hosting with Patricia and ready to bring that original spirit back to mornings in Toronto.”
