A woman has been rushed to hospital after she was struck by a cyclist near Christie Pits.

Toronto police say they responded to reports a pedestrian had been struck in the area of Bloor Street and Montrose Avenue just after 2:30 p.m.

The woman was taken to hospital by emergency run with serious, possibly life-threatening injuries. The cyclist remained on the scene.
