Ottawa police are investigating after a body was discovered in the water near Petrie Island in the city’s east end Saturday night.
The body was recovered by the marine, dive and trails unit.
The person’s identity “has not yet been confirmed,” police said in a message Sunday.
The East Criminal Investigations Section is investigating, police said.
