“The City of Ottawa is not going to cover billions and billions of dollars in additional costs for the hospital. That’s not our jurisdiction. City staff has been asked to come up with solutions that would add up to $150 million as part of the local share, and we’re waiting to receive that report from staff, and, when that report comes back, we’ll consider it in council.”
