While Jeff Leiper didn’t have any official releases last week, Heather Badenoch, who is part of Leiper’s mayoral campaign team, said, “Jeff focused this week on the Vacant Unit Tax, which Jeff will keep: it has returned more than 1,600 units to the market and unlocked an estimated $400 million in housing supply while putting downward pressure on rents,” according to a statement.
