A 53-year-old Ottawa woman named in an arrest warrant has been apprehended and charged in connection with a 2025 homicide in Clarence-Rockland, the Ontario Provincial Police said Friday.
Cathy Percey was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Robert Prévost, 63, the Oct. 9 OPP news release said, adding that Percey remained in custody and was scheduled to appear in court at L’Orignal on Oct 16.
The arrest warrant had been announced on Oct. 6.
Prévost’s body was found in the Ottawa River in May 2025, two months after he had been listed as a missing person and three months after he was last seen at his home on Laurier Street in Clarence-Rockland.

In June 2026, the OPP announced the arrests of three people in connection with the investigation: Jessica St. Michael of Ottawa, charged with first-degree murder and indignity to a body; Luc Décarie of St-Gabriel-de-Brandon, Que., charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy and indignity to a human body; and Yvon Cieno of Ottawa, charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy and indignity to a human body.
In September, the OPP said that Mathew Blake of Arnprior had been charged with second-degree murder, indignity to a dead body and obstructing a peace officer and that Sébastien Boucher of Rockland had been charged with obstructing a peace officer, obstructing justice and accessory after the fact.
The OPP said Oct. 9 that the Crime Unit from its Russell County detachment was continuing the investigation.
