Soulpepper, one of Toronto’s largest non-profit theatres, is parting ways with its executive director. 

Gideon Arthurs, who has steered the company financially since 2022, co-leading the organization alongside two artistic directors, will step down from his role at the end of October. He shared his plans in an exclusive interview with the Star, before the company is expected to announce his departure later on Tuesday.
