The Ottawa Police Service has released photos of a man it is seeking to identify in connection with two indecent acts in the Heron Park neighbourhood in late August and early September.
In a news release on Sept. 16, OPS said the first incident occurred at about 2 p.m. on Aug. 29, when a man began following a woman who was walking along a pathway near the 1500 block of Clover Street. After she stopped and looked back, he exposed himself and began masturbating.
The second incident was reported on Sept. 3 at approximately 10:26 p.m., near the intersection of Bank Street and Heron Road, where a man matching the same description was observed masturbating while looking into the window of a residence.
OPS officers went to the scene, but did not locate the man.
The Sept. 16 media release described the suspect as a Black man in his mid-20s, tall, and wearing black jogging pants and a grey hooded sweatshirt. He was carrying a black pouch.
Investigators asked area residents and businesses to review any surveillance, doorbell-camera or dashcam video from the dates and times of the incidents.
