CALGARY – TC Energy Corp. says it has signed a deal to sell its Guadalajara-Manzanillo pipeline in Mexico to Esentia Energy Development for $560 million.
The 313-kilometre pipeline connects imported liquefied natural gas near Manzanillo and continental gas supply near Guadalajara to power plants and industrial customers in the states of Colima and Jalisco.
It can transport up to 500 million cubic feet per day of natural gas.
TC Energy CEO François Poirier says the sale is part of the company’s continued focus on portfolio optimization and long-term value creation.
The company will continue to own and operate a broader natural gas pipeline network in Mexico, including about 3,300 kilometres of pipeline.
The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2027, subject to customary closing conditions, regulatory approvals and consents.
