Three people are dead after a multi-vehicle collision in South Glengarry Township on Thursday night.
Ontario Provincial Police said they responded to a collision involving three vehicles on Sept. 17 just after 9:45 p.m. on County Road 17 near County Road 27.
Three people were pronounced dead at the scene, including a 61-year-old driver from South Glengarry, a 54-year-old passenger from South Glengarry and an 18-year-old driver from North Glengarry.
The occupants of a third vehicle were transported to hospital for assessment. Their conditions were unknown.
County Road 17 was temporarily closed in both directions between County Road 27 and Fairview Road for the investigation.
Members of the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry detachment of the OPP were investigating the collision with support from the OPP East Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team.

South Glengarry Township is about 100 kilometres southeast of Ottawa.
