Victim stabbed inside St. James Town building, police say

Toronto police responded to a stabbing at a building in St. James Town on Friday morning, authorities confirmed on Friday morning.

Authorities were notified of a stabbing incident just before 11 a.m. in the Sherbourne Street and St. James Avenue area, near Wellesley Street East.

Police said a victim was stabbed and injured inside a building. They were transported to a hospital with serious injuries and are in stable condition.

A second victim was assessed at the scene. Their condition is unclear.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
