Woman injured after being struck by vehicle in Etobicoke

A woman was injured after being hit by a vehicle in Etobicoke on Thursday afternoon.

Police were called to the area of Bloor Street and Kipling Avenue around 1:15 p.m. for reports of a collision.

Emergency crews found an adult female pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle. The extent of her injuries are not known at this time.

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene.

Westbound Bloor Street is closed at Kipling Avenue. Drivers are advised to consider alternate routes.
