HAMILTON – Police say the death of a worker at a Hamilton race track on Saturday has prompted Ontario’s Ministry of Labour to investigate.
Hamilton police say they were called to the Flamboro Speedway after an accident on the track on Saturday evening.
They say an employee was injured but did not give details about the accident.
Police say the employee was taken to Hamilton General Hospital where they died from their injuries.
Police say officers assisted the Ministry of Labour with the preliminary investigation.
They say the ministry has now taken over the investigation.
