Drowning death reported in Oastler Provincial Park near Parry Sound

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say one person died after drowning in Oastler Lake near Parry Sound earlier this month.

Authorities were called to Oastler Provincial Park on July 4 around 9 p.m.

The victim was found by the underwater search and recovery unit the next day around 11 a.m.

Provincial police say the exact cause of drowning and the circumstances surrounding it are unknown at this time.
