A search for a man missing after an inflated boat capsized off of Cherry Beach has concluded for the night due to darkness, Toronto police say.
Police were called to the area around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday and the marine unit was able to rescue one man from the water.
The man in his 40s was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but his condition is not life-threatening.
A dog was also rescued.
Police are expected to provide an update on the search in the morning.
