Two people were taken to hospital with serious injuries following a single-vehicle collision on Fallowfield Road early Tuesday morning.
At about 5:22 a.m. on Sept. 1, Ottawa Police Service officers responded to the scene near Old Richmond Road.
According to an Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson, the vehicle had left the road and struck a pole, adding that both occupants were taken to hospital in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police, in a news release, had identified the driver as a 22-year-old man and the passenger as a 22-year-old woman.
They said Fallowfield between Old Richmond and Eagleson Road would remain closed until late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning for pole repairs.
