A driver was airlifted to the hospital following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 407 in Whitby on Wednesday.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say the vehicle crashed into the guardrail before flipping over onto its side at Thickson Road North just after 2:30 p.m.
An ORNGE air ambulance took the driver, who was the lone occupant, to a trauma centre in Toronto with what police describe as non-life threatening injuries.
The eastbound lanes of the highway were shut down between Thickson and Baldwin Street South before being reopened just before 5 p.m.
